As far as "constant noise " goes, the lawn maintenance types with powerful riding mowers and little or no mufflers NEVER - EVER go away. They are a year-round problem And with the small lots in TV Land and no sound deadening fences. I for one get a headache whenever they come near my house - even 2 houses down or across the street. In an ideal world, or the future, ALL lawnmowers will be battery-powered. Eventually what you are complaining about will go away. But, it IS very true that nail-guns are very loud and annoying.

The mowers are more of a problem if you live on a golf course lot.
