In some areas of the country the posted speed limit would be established by that 98%

I doubt its true but if it is true then the allegation that cops are given a bonus if they meet their quota for ticket issuance is a bona fide conflict of interest

Any car made will exceed any posted speed limit--bigger houses don't mean a thing--its your net worth that counts--too bad no one is comfortable posting their approximate net worth--any guess how many multi-millionaires there are in TV

Ok if you have retirement income with combined pensions & social security over $200K /year -you have the income of a millionaire-but it doesn't make you a millionaire

The topic is Speeding, not big houses or net worth/wealth. Please stay on topic or the thread will be closed.

Baseline tennis is boring, sometimes you have to mix it up with a little net play

What does your net worth count FOR?

When I was a kid there were several no-no's to any polite public discussion. You never discussed sex. You didn't discuss religion and you never ever ever inquired about how much money someone else had or said how much you had. It wasn't much for most, I was born in 1939 right after the depression..we had our shoes repaired and well I won't get into all that.

That said, I love that everyone lives like a millionaire here. We will be driving along the beautifully kept thoroughfares and I will comment that the Vanderbilts and the Rockefellows didn't have as much well kept areas to drive in as we do living here.

I love that you can sit at the square between a retired CEO of a fortune 500 company and a fellow who drove a bus all of his life and never, ever know the difference. Because what you have or had, and what you used to do really doesn't matter here. I love that.

Really, "the Vanderbilts and the Rockefellows (whoever they are) didn't have as much well kept areas to drive in as we do living here"

I am pretty sure the vast majority of people don't care, nor should they as other people's net worth is their business.
