No Bare. They drive around in a p/u truck with an apparatus mounted in the truck bed that propels the spray. Quite loud and it actually reminded me of a model airplane. I jumped up and thought what's that crazy noise? Thought it might have been nONIE trying to find her way home via g/cart but she's not due to be back yet.

Ahhh, I remember the night in TOTV chat when Donna was skeered out of her wits by the sound of a prowler outside. She called the cops, Kathie came running to rescue her... And it turned out to be the skeeter truck slowly going thru her villa streets.

Me too! Grew up in the Florida Keys and that was our nightly entertainment. We were either running behind the ice cream truck or the fog truck depending upon what time of day.

Wonder what kind of residual effects we have from breathing all that skeeter spray?! Yikes!

I thought that they regularly spray golf courses and common areas for skeeters and other pests like red ants. And I thought that the golf course spraying kept the mosquito population in TV at zilch. I didn't realize they did residential spraying.

This is probably a stupid question, but do they spray residential front lawns, or the air? How often do they spray? I gather they spray after dark so that people and animals are indoors. (Except for the nude midnight swimmers, but that's another thread).
