You can try placing a few fake Owls around. Squirrels know they will be eaten by an owl and stay away. You just have to make sure you move the owls from time to time.You can get them at a Yarden center. I had one that was a bobble head so that the head moved in the wind.

I know how I would get rid of them, but I don't think I better say here. I had a Coyote showing up ever morning across the street & he doesn't show up anymore or should I say won't be seen anymore. Better not say anymore!

Buy a water gun and use it on them. They will soon get the idea they are not welcome.

Thanks to all of you. I bought a "SuperSoaker", I've filled it with cold water and a splash of Ammonia, they seem to hate it. I'll try the "Owl" thing, although I saw a squirrel literally perched on the one down by the pool last week - maybe I'll try one of those solar owls that move, make noise, etc. Mothballs stink up the porch and only last about a week, then they're melted/gone. There was a "fox urine" product I tried before, it worked, but it's incredibly expensive. I'll stick to the water gun, and the traffic out front is helping flatten a few as well!

We have Coyotes roaming around and they love digging in my trash for chicken bones...its easy because the trash is not a moving target. Lousy hunters they are. My trash does not go out until morning now

Why ammonia when the hose will do as well? They are doing what they are programmed to do. They don't know they are hurting your screen.

Someone said to add a teaspoon of ammonia just because they don't like the smell. I don't spray them with it - just the screen and the ground around the screen. It seems to work?

Oh. Glad to hear it. Ammonia would really burn their eyes. Sometimes those squirrels make me so aggravated but........especially the Ohio ones who would eat the bird food. I guess they are doing that because they are hungry. I am grumpy today.
