Article accurate.

Yeah, the Bill has been amended, but the Developer is still getting the protection he asked Hage to get him.

Ask your self what the situation would be had the Developer handed Hage $140,000 in a brown enveloper instead of putting him on the payroll. Is this really different? That is what the original poster is asking.

Do the sponsor's assets still remain in the the trust?
Are there yearly disclosure filings available for review subsequent to the article's 2019 statement discussed there?
Does the bill zero in on the developer of the Villages or all developers?
Perhaps Mr. Hage will come forward with the answers to your questions. He clearly still works for T&D, a major supplier of the Developer. That, alone, is reason enough why he should have recused himself from any involvement in the proposed legislation

If he did recluse himself he developer would probably have decided what am I paying this guy for and shown him the exit.

I have lost count on how many articles have been written in The Daily Propaganda paper, on this issue, ALL ONE SIDED. Of course, this 'issue' is supposedly about 'tax increases'?! Obviously, it is not, but wait? I arrived in TV right about the time that the TWENTY FIVE PERCENT tax increase was introduced. It was sold(and laughed off) by the Commissioners, and I did NOT see one article on what a 25% tax increase would have on development(economy), etc? Hmmmmm?

The Sun seems to have a motto they work under.

If good for the developer it is published if not we are not aware of the info.

Perhaps if they had a living breathing editor who was allowed to publish the news without the slant we would all have a bit of respect for the content.
