I receive (and pay) ALL of my bills online. I have not received any circular. I hope they mail some one page list so that I can laminate it and hang it out in the garage.

I know I could read this information here, online, villages newspaper or whatever but I would get the same result , put out my thrash for Tuesday and Friday pickup like always and yes I’m also continuing this useless thread because I’m bored and haven’t finished my coffee yet

Today was the first day of the new trash pick up schedule for us. We have the same Tuesday and Friday as always. However, they never before picked up our trash before 11:00 AM, so we never put out the trash the night before to keep the nocturnal critters from making a mess tearing through the bag in search of food. When I went out around 8:30 this morning to put out the trash I noticed that they had already come through our neighborhood.

The moral of the story is that the approximate pick up times that you have become used to might have changed. Our trash will now be going out the night before the scheduled pick up days.

Well I'd say 1/4 of my neighbors didn't get the message either. There were many many bags of yard waste out there today which used to be our yard waste day.

What do you suggest? Notice was included in the monthly RAD bill. The Daily Sun and POA bulletin had articles about the change and WVLG mentioned the change on several occasions.

I have used plastic bags for yard waste all the time with the exception of The Villages. I much prefer the plastic bags because of yard waste that is wet will not break the bags. As for branches, I cut them up so they fit easily in the plastic bags. Any branches that are too thick to easily cut, I just pile them on the driveway.

On 9/29 you posted "Is there a website for us to check out?"
Someone posted a link after that on the same day.
I take it you didn't open it and read the OFFICIAL INFO.

What are you saying? You want me to go door to door in my neighborhood to inform everyone? Not going to do it.

at about 1am when I go to bed . I’ve done this in 5 Different neighborhoods ,never had an animal rip open bag. What I don’t like is people who start putting thrash out early in the day before it’s picked up

Red bags are not to be used. They're for medical waste
