Curious...where are your must-see/go-to places when showing first time visitors around TV (restaurants, scenic views, beautiful rec centers etc.)?

Eisenhower Rec Center, Rohan Rec Center, golf cart ride to Brownwood and of course the bronze cattle, golf cart ride to Lake Sumter with lunch on the deck of RJ Gators, and the preserve off of Moyer Loop.

Atlas Dog Park and the adjoining Nature Preserve are quite nice to visit. You cannot take pooches into the Nature Preserve though.

The Barnstorm Theater is our best IMHO. People should check this movie theater out. It has many western themed nick nacks in its lobby as well as further inside.

I like to take guests for golf ride over to the Historic District. Going over 441 is a fun ride and viewing the homes are fun to see how TV started. Much more "neighborhood" type feel there. Always love viewing the warmth of the homes there and uniqueness.

A fun ride is going over bridge at Lake Sumter, then down 466, then back down Buena Vista thru the large oaks of Lake Sumter area.....my favorite spot in TV.

So many of our visitors are amazed at the number of places we can go on a golf cart.

As well as commenting " I have no idea where I am, I hope you do". We do, it takes time but yes we do.

The more north you take your cart the more mature the scenery.

Bacall Rec Center so they can get a picture with Bogie. Definitely Eisenhower. Then, I try to let the interests of my guests steer me where else to go when.

Default Where Do I Take Them?

I did this only a few months back. I start off taking them to the 3 market squares. I show them Lake Sumter after which to Spanish Springs and on to Brownwood. They are truly surprised at the scale of The Villages and by the different styles of the squares. In the evening, make sure they see one of the squares where live music and all the dancing go on. I also show them a few Regional Rec. Centers like Seabreeze, Colony but last will always be Eisenhower. Will take them also to one Championship Golf Club with a lunch if possible. We did dinner at Lopez this time. For the future guests, I must include the Fenney area. Oh my goodness! 😊

Walking the entire dock at Lake Sumter Landing early in the morning and late at night (and anywhere in between)! Something really therapeutic there. Count on it.
