I think they are a great idea.
I agree. The sign is easy to see from a log ways away, and it runs on solar-powered electricity. Lights like this would be useful on gate arms throughout The Villages.

There are bad drivers everywhere, even in The Villages.

That is the perfect opportunity to lay on the horn. Sorry for the folks who live in close proximity to the intersection but I feel bad drivers need to be reminded that they will cause an accident if they continue to do stupid things on the road.

However, if it indeed a dangerous 4 way intersection, perhaps a speed bump or two on each road just before the stop sign would work at alerting those that did not know that there is a stop sign ahead.
I would much prefer big brother to monitor every single intersection in these United States, not only our little section on earth. Hand out those tickets to all those bad drivers. What is the harm in that? You do something wrong, you pay for it with evidence to boot.

If you have to even ask that question then clearly we come from different worlds. But so be it. To each his own.

People here are so damn impatient. Yesterday a car following my golf cart on Del mar decided to tailgate me since he couldn't pass me before the gate.

After the gate he wasn't about to take his rightful turn at the four way stop at Del Mar and Avienda Central and Bam! He hits the other car that had the right of way! Congrats genius!

There are already surveillance cameras at many major intersections. How do you feel about those cameras? There are surveillance cameras at every entrance to Villages. Do those cameras make you feel uneasy?

No, why would I be uneasy?

I don't believe my comment about that was not to you. I just looked back and it was another poster that I said that to.
