It is my understanding (saw something about it on another post) that the legal advisor to the sheriff has written a memo indicating that the sheriff's office has no enforcement authority on the multi-modal paths. They are only authorized by state statute to enforce laws on the street.

I am not aware of speed limits on the multi modal paths, nor have I ever seen any speed limit signs posted on them.

The law for NEVs/LSVs is that they can not be capable of exceeding 25 mph, I think. Most LSVs go less than 25 mph. Change the law.

I have been a member for 6 years and this must be the 35th time this issue has been raised, scrutinized and solved. Why? Because our golf carts are our everything, our pals and our identity God Bless America, Land........
