Are wallysnobs any kin to aldisnobs? Let's hope so, two new grocery stores on 466a for those of us that are not snobs.......

I would hope that the federal government does not move to signs being created in cursive because they do not teach cursive in school any longer and our grand kids would get lost anywhere they went.

Perhaps we should replace street names with pictures. I was on Lion making a turn onto Anole when a car coming from Coyote struck me on the right front fender

Speaking of street signs...am I the only one to notice that in the Village of Collier they have a street spelled "Nantuket". Well in MA it is spelled with a "c" between the 'u & the 'k'. I think it makes us seem ignorant.

I notice that Wildwood has all new street signs. Bright green and easy to see. Wish The Villages would copy

It is tax dollars from new homes (mostly The Villages) funding their new street signs.

I am a fiscal conservative. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But in politics those kinds of things aren't issues anymore. sigh.

Grandkids don't need anything but their smart phone.

I understand it is pronounced Nan-too-kay.

If you notice street signs made for TV are all caps because like the Readers Digest we need a senior version

Actually signs here are a combination of both All Caps and/or a combination of cap and low case such as San Marino.

Actually, upper and lower case is easier to read. My question is why doesn't The Villages post signs on the roads (especially at roundabouts) to show whether you're going north or south? This would be very helpful for all the new villagers and snowbirds. They don't have re-do signs, but just add a little sign below it saying "N" or "North" and "S" or "South".

That settles it, I'm putting my house on the market and moving out of here.

No you're not.

Potential buyers won't be able to find the house you're selling...if the street name is in all caps.
