I had the same situation, I called the police and had the person trespassed from my property. The officer told me you can have someone trespassed from your property for any reason he didn't want to see the video.

Unfortunately, from the District:

The District does not have purview over the enforcement of animal-related concerns, including leash laws and trespassing by pets. For assistance and enforcement, these issues must be addressed directly through Sumter County Animal Control, as they are the appropriate authority to handle such cases. As far as trespassing, that is a matter for Sumter County Sheriff’s Office as well.

Though not likely the issue for OP, however if the Sumter County link is accurate, then the challenge may be what constitutes "control".... I see plenty of neighborhood dogs taking liberties on my lawn, however the owners are quick to recover deposits, so no harm.

"All domestic animals must be under direct control or on a leash when off the owner’s property".

I saw that someone posted a similar item, but when we were having issues at another home with wildlife (esp raccoons) causing damage in our backyard, the wild animal wrangler we used recommended a specific make/model for it's effectiveness. We got two, set them up with overlapping sprays, and it has worked like a charm. They react to body heat, and the sprays can be set for only night (or day, or all the time). It takes some testing to get heat sensor range and spray directions correct, and since it would be between your houses I'd advise getting your neighbors involved.

That is an unfair characterization.

PoPo CW also provides clown services at the various gates throughout The Villages, whose responsibility appears to be waving people through, negating the purposes of the gates in the 1st place.

If you really want some entertainment, attend a District Budget session and listen to Nehemiah Wolfe justify the CW Budget. He can tell you exactly how many garage doors CW can observe per minute, how many justify a phone call and the weight of all the newspapers they pick up. Bring Lunch, you might have to spend most of the day once he starts talking. You'll swear you've been listening to Lieutenant Howard Hunter, solving all of NYC's problems.

We installed a trail cam along with 5 corner neighbors, for the wildlife that traveled by our house.

Second reason 17 times a day a long leash dog was allowed to use what many would call the corner dog parks. 17 then would walk across the street to a common area. Then returning allowing the 17 dogs to wander up to 18’ in the corner yards.

While we were up north a well attended driveway party had videos playing, from 4 corner lots. It was interesting and upsetting for those who could watch themselves on TV. Augment that it was public property.
Afterwards Most on our cams kept their dogs off lawns, however some did give finger salutes as they walked by.

Trail cams work great as long as one is willing to post.
