How many peeps are going to join Handi's convoy??

Are there any golf carts going with one person? Does any one need a cart to ride in??

I think Handi would be the one to map our path out..I guess it also depends on if they are going to have the fireworks...

I'm borrowing a cart and will have wiw with me. I know coleenj will be down for the 4th but I have no idea if she plans to join us. If she does, she will need a cart or a ride.

Ron and Pete will be in the convoy. No puter access for them until next week.

Anyone know what the plan is re food, drinks? Handie had originally said something about bringing drinks, snacks (at least I'm assuming snacks). Snacks for the group or just for individual carts? Drinks are gonna be a problem since we're meeting earlier for Rocky. Which brings up the next question -- what time are we meeting and where?

Can we confirm fireworks? I hear that many were cancelled and I searched...to no avail. Those going to SS will head to LSL around 8-8:30? Curious.

In discussions with Dicky and Villager07, it has been decided to leave LSL town Sq at 8:30 and travel up Canal all the way to Truman Rec center. Those attending Rocky, as I may do for awhile, should adjust their leave time at SS accordingly. I have not kept up with the local news on who is and who is not having fireworks. Could someone help me here. I will have a cell phone on all during the 4th. I can be reached at 352-391-2577 or at our villa at 352-350-7373

Leesburg is having a fireworks display at Venetian Gardens. That's the only one I can find so far that is relatively close. Tavaras and Mt. Dora are also having displays but not sure if they can be seen from here.

Convoy forms at Sweetbay parking lot 9:00 PM traveling to Truman Rec Center via Canal Street. Bring folding chairs, umbrella :'(, snacks, BYOB, camera, Dicky says approx. 15 minute ride to the Rec center from LSL. Those folks down in SS watching Rocky, allow 15 minutes. Del Mar is closed at the SQ, however go around the tent and head up Del Mar. Turn right on Rio Grande then left on Morse under the tunnel at 466 left to the bridge then right into Sweetbay

Cross your fingers for clear Sky's
