You are on target NJblue. We dropped our local paper. All it had was "OLD" news. Breaking news is on the local television stations and they also send an email to inform of immediate breaking news along with weather statements. In depth articles are on the Internet, but then who needs in-depth anymore?

From a wannabee - I enjoy reading the Daily Sun while I'm visiting. I get to know what is going on in TV. Enjoy the stories about what the residents are doing -- clubs, volunteering, etc. I mostly skim the harder news stories as the news is already 12 hrs. old by the time it hits the newspapers.

She didn't, if she wins my $50 she doesn't get the streak show too is what I was saying. I'm sure by the end of business today our GG will have dug up the facts.

You can get a "Real' paper off campus. There is always the internet. Just because you're a news junky, don't screw it up for those who want to live in La La Land. The happy paper is good for retirees. Very soothing.

I agree with nj blue...the papers have shrunk in page size along with the print. The cross word puzzle squares are so small i cant fit the letter in the box.

I wonder who the papers are kidding....no way can they stay afloat cutting bck the way they have/ Fortunately there is a large advertising base here in TV......I guess that is why we can read "The Village Sun". I just wish they would change their editorial policies to provide a more balanced objective reading ...this would include everything from the news covered, politics, and editorial page. readers are not dumb...they can make their own mind up.

Oh and leave the crossword puzzle/Jumble/games in BIG print.

Please advise the date and time this streaking event will be occurring so that I can have my laptop set to view the TV web cams. And if possible, please schedule this after 6:00 p.m. central time as I cannot view TV's web cams from my work laptop, only from my personal laptop. Alternatively, anytime on the weekend is fine. Thank you for your cooperation.

I find it hard to beleive the Morse family would sell the Sun. It is primarily a marketing tool and a tool for promoting the Villages and Villagers. If they sell it they would have to pay the new owner all the money back and then some in advertising costs. Besides the fact they don't need the money and it offers them a terrific forum to promote their businesses and point of view.

Default Poshie...............

My sources say that The Sun will come up tomorrow, just the same as yesterday and assuredly on the 22nd. No change in ownership.

I will find you and collect my fifty bucks.

Had me confused, thought you meant a neighbor in Virginia but I didn't recognize you. Anyway thanks for believing.
