I wonder why people complain about the developer having total control. This is obviously a successful development and we want to live here so it follows that "The Developer" must be doing something right.

It's the 21st. You promised to streak in the squares if there weren't a new Sun god by today. And um, I hate to split hairs but squares is plural.

The new owner is Phil. Call him. I lost interest when I picked up the sticks again at Arnold Palmer's. My sweet swing is back after 20
or so years. Everything else now is trivial. Looking for strokes.

FWIW, on page A2 of today's (June 21) paper it still shows the publisher is "The Villages of Lake/Sumter Inc" and not Phil Markward.

When they change that tag line or make the announcement, I'll consider it official.

As many others have speculated, I doubt this will change the tone or content of the paper which serves its purpose as a community paper. Hey, I can go through it in about 20 minutes each morning to know what's going on in our hometown.
