I wouldn't lay the issue of roundabout problems at the door step of the snow birds.
Remember over half that will still be here do the same dumb things whether in roundabouts or where ever.
I have no complaints as I have never not been able to get a T time....maybe not always the first choice....but where else in the world can you always get your first choice?
Same with restaurants go early or later....one can ALWAYS get in.

If it was a walk up and go community you would not have 1/3 of the amenities, shops, etc. available.

If you lived in a city with a higher population than TV then anytime is a good time.....and if you lived in a city smaller than TV then anytime is a good time too.....by comparison.

Snowbirds like roundabouts...fact of life!!!!

I have only been here full time since November so I haven't really experienced TV without lots of people.
On one hand I am sad to see them go. Especially...... the new friends I have made who will leave and won't return til October. Some of the clubs will stop meeting over the summer and that will be a new adjustment to make.
On the other hand I won't mind the lack of ,waiting lines for dinner ,"millions" at the pools, long grocery lines and busy stores.

We are owner (rather than renter) snowbirds who will be leaving in a couple of weeks with plans to return in mid-June. Curious anomaly that I predicted, though it's hard to generalize based on one day, but I wondered if the pools would be MORE crowded after March 31 as the weather would be getting better, and they certainly were today (April 1)! Interesting....

I love the snowbirds, and seasonal but I also love the frogs-time.
In the winter we need the seasonal and snowbirds to keep the businesses and restaurants. As far as I'm concerned our summer joy is their loss. Sitting around the pool with close friends and enjoying the sun and warmth into the late evening is so relaxing I can't explain it. Walking on the golf courses any time you want is a privledge that can't be described.
In any case WELCOME ALL !

Love it!

I do understand the sadness of when long term neighbors/friends leave to return to their permanent residences, but let's face it...variety is the spice of life...soooooo, out with the old and in with the new!

It's a time to reestablish/establish new friendships and get on with life...with sadness returning when the snowflakes leave yet with happy anticipation of the snowbirds fall arrival.

It's cyclical like the seasons.
