First you complain about a "performer" rubbing her genitals and sniffing her finger, next you will complain about people looting, stealing, and defecating in the street. So very old of you. Get with the times and learn to embrace such behaviour, lest you be labeled outdated and intolerant.

Many people say they couldn't understand the lyrics.
This is going to be a continuing problem for us.
Maybe we should just turn on captions.

Did you ever wonder what a song appears as to someone hearing impaired. Unable to hear the music, they follow the captions:

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Coming out your mouth with your blah blah blah
Zip your lips like a padlock
And meet me at the back with the jack and the jukebox
I don't really care where you live at
Just turn around boy and let me hit that
Don't be a little bitch with your chit chat
Just show me where your d**k's at

Or

I like that boom boom pow
Them chickens jackin' my style
They try to copy my swagger
I'm on that next **** now
I'm so 3008
You so 2000 and late
I got that boom, boom, boom
That future boom, boom, boom

Remember, if you think the above is silly or going in the wrong direction, some ageist will tell you that you are not hip and cool. Make way for the beautiful lyrics (see above). Don't forget Elvis.

I think it is pretty obvious that the law enforcement around here know who the troublemakers and petty small-time crooks are, and traffic stops that result in an arrest for whatever petty crime, are an excellent way to keep the pressure on. If this is another way of doing that, then have at it. I'm in favor.
Well, I basically agreed with your post. And the point IS that here AND around the US, there are Police Officers that should RETIRE and make way for younger more socially responsible officers to be hired. I did say that there are only a small % of "bad apples".

I would say that we tend to disagree about the DANGER to people over 65 from the Delta CV variant. I noticed that as soon as the shot was available that a large % of TV Land residents drove ALL over the state to get one. To me, that WAS high motivation and I imagine that BEFORE they got the CV 1st shot, they would NOT have liked a Deputy sticking their nose inside their vehicle while they got stopped for a ticket.

While it is more depressing to see a veteran police officer step on a citizens rights, I would propose that the younger ones tend to be less knowledgeable about the law and peoples rights.
As for more socially responsible officers, I am unsure as to what that means. I would think it means someone who is not harmful to society. Can you clarify for me what a socially responsible police officer would be?

We most likely do disagree on many aspects of covid and the risks it posed/poses. I think one of those disagreements would be what an at risk group (I am a member) has the right to expect from the rest of the population. Never in history have The governments around the world, in union with mega corporations like google, obtained so much power over the people as happened during covid. That and the increased concentration of wealth among the top 1/2 of 1%.

I give the dancers credit for the sync, the song was impossible to hear over the band, and the costumes in general were awful.
Not a football fan - but I used to look forward to the commercials and halftime. Now it has become just something to mute and chat over. The audience is multi-generational how about something coordinated so all generations could find something enjoyable?
There was no "band", nor did she sing live. They entire thing was pre-recorded and she lip sync'ed to the entire show...

Um, not "all young singers" by any stretch of the imagination...

But I'll agree with you on the "raciest" part...

80 % of the players are black and 75% of the fans are white.
Closer to 57% and 37%... But whatever...

Yeah, there's a lot of that going around...in this thread alone.
A lot? Not really... Saying you don't like a singer or a style of music isn't "raciest"...

Sad thing is... Rihanna CAN sing... She just didn't do it Sunday night...

She's an amazing singer with a record of winning Grammy's. The stage was fantastic as was the production.
Sometimes I'm still amazed at the way people can be so mean.
The staging/production was amazing.

The "singing" was fake... She looked like she was mailing it in (to me...)

IMHO, if you're gonna' SING at the Super Bowl, you should "SING" at the Super Bowl...
