all that said...we did have to go to two stores yesterday to find a fresh cabbage...but those are never heavily stocked anyway

I suspect that 'the shelves' on our local grocery stores look no different than those where you are presently

safe travels and welcome back
Last week en Aldi a number of items had limits. Eggs, milk and a number of others. Been that way since the beginning.

NO, Still lots of empty shelves depending on where you shop. Some stores have been out of items and STILL are out of those same items after all these months.

As I was sitting on our front porch, I happen to see a very large package delivered to my neighbor a few months ago. Afterwards he saw me in the yard and ask me if I needed any toilet paper. I said no. Our daughter just had 72 rolls delivered to us and I have no idea what to do with all of them he said. 72 rolls - all we could do was have a big laugh. Someone said that paper towels were a bit hard to find and sugar free ice cream. Life goes on.

one of my 'guilty pleasures' is Diet A&W or Diet Barqs root beer. I used to drink a can or so of Diet Pepsi almost each day. My kidney Dr told me some additives in Coke/Pepsi -for coloring I believe- was not good for patients with kidney issues. I asked about root beer - thumbs up from him.

So began the 'root beer kick' - OMG so good and brings back chilhood memories. Was running low a few weeks ago, and at Winn Dixie, had a special on their brand diet Root beer. hmm, not quite as good. Last Friday we were at the WM on 466. Went to the 'soda' aisle - yikes, SO picked over and LOTS of empty areas - including ANY type of diet root beer. Oh well. Friday, I assumed would be all stocked up.

Isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol with at least 70 percent alcohol – undiluted – will kill coronavirus on surfaces in about 30 seconds. You don't need the 90 percent. It is not good for your skin at all

The stores are stocked people are not hoarding. The virus is not hitting the villages. We have been running around all this time and not sick. Some stores require you were a mask. So bring them. But no need to cancel. We have a lot of false positives being reported. I know several people who first got positive results then 2 days later with the more advanced test was negative. Come down and enjoy!

IMHO the Publix in Colony gets far more traffic than the one in Lake Deaton....

For many items we find that Aldi is competitive with Sams but we can purchase in smaller quantities.

My favorite brand of frozen pizza was out of stock for while along with my favorite soup zazzy jambalaya? But most items are on hand unless there second wave of panic.

No. Still shortages on paper products, disinfectant wipes, and some foods. Still limits on how many of particular items you can buy. Specific shortages in restaurants- such as rib eye steaks.

Strange one would think they would continue to make something that has higher demand as quickly as possible.

Where are the wipes now being produced going?
