Default Are She Sheds Allowed in the Villages

My wife and I are moving down to the village of santo domingo permanently in October. She is a crafter and has many bins of her handmade items. We will probably not have enough room in the garage for a car, golf cart and her bins. With my pick up in the driveway.
So considering a small plastic maybe 7x7 shed in the back yard to put some of her bins.
Our back yard butts up against a fence to keep people out of a turtle sanctuary.
which is where we would put it.
Neighbors would see it, but we would get it in a color that would stand out less.
After all of that are they even allowed? I do not see any around. Thanks you all for answers. Bud

No. However, in your situation some people do install them. If no neighbor complains or anyone who sees it you can get away with it, that doesn't make it 'legal'.

As you will see in sequential responses to this post, there are many neighbors who will complain about it.

That pickup parked in the driveway all the time should be well received…….

I have a courtyard villa with walls and I had a shed for the lawnmower and garden tools. However, mine was not visible from the street or neighbors. Maybe get a really small shed and put it near your house where it's not visible? I doubt the turtles would care.

Ditto.

On a related note, anyone know of a place where somebody could get some PVC boards for a reasonable price? Lowe's and Home Depot want an arm and a leg for them.

Doesn't matter how it's received, it's not against the deed restrictions. We have several neighbors that have the extended cab large pickups, and they are simply too long to fit in the smaller garages.

My Pacifica barely fits in ours, but I don't like to leave a vehicle out in the FL sun.

We have one also and were granted ARC approval. Ours is also against the house.

Fyi - With the humidity and heat here, anything that absorbs moisture will likely get moldy unless stored in a conditioned space.

If you need more room you get a bigger house. I need a studio for art, so we got a home that would have one.

Many people bring too much stuff here from their northern home. So they rent a storage locker. There are many storage facilities near TV. Be sure to get one that is air conditioned, to prevent damage to your craft items.
