Have you thought about putting a Murphy bed in your spare bedroom and that can be her craft room?

I would not recommend storing much of anything crafting wise outdoors. Maybe wood, hard plastic, metal. Not cloth (bugs, mold). Not paint or adhesives ( too hot). We used Custom Home Closets to vastly increase storage in one closet and also for a wall bed in the “office” that has storage on both sides. Leaving lots of room to work when we don’t need the bed. They also do storage walls with fold down/out work surfaces. The other thing we did is turn the angled part of the front bedroom into a smaller walk in closet. That room is now 10’ x 11’x and we have a small walk-in closet that is about 4’x8’ on the long side. I have seen some custom designed closets for quilters that were amazing and fit in the standard 6’ bifold door closet space. We owned and were here about 10 days a month before moving full time. Had time to sort out what we really wanted. We feel like every penny we spent on custom storage/closets was well worth the expense. Expands usable space. Keeps things neat and tidy and easy to find. Make things also physically easier to access which will matter as we age! Hope this helps. Do NOT store much you care about in an area that isn’t climate controlled - bugs, heat, mold!

Snarky comment. I’m sure your neighbors are all very happy with such a joyful person keeping an eye on other people’s business.

What I did was in my closets, I had 15 inch shelves added on the top. Also underbed storage bins. Take one of the spare room closets , rip out the wire shelving and put a closet system in with all box shelves.

I was just saying it might not be well received by some folks. There has been difference of opinions on this topic over the years, with threads debating the issue.

I resent your blanket criticism.

Cars are not welcome because they block the view and are not pleasant to look at in general. They are allowed - but not welcome. And pick up trucks are usually long and big so more view blocking. Now if you parked a Lamborghini, I wouldn’t mind….

Gotta park it somewhere, and if there is no room in the garage then the driveway is the logical and appropriate place. The driveway is not against deed restrictions and is way better than the road or in the guest parking spaces in a nearby Villa complex. My neighbors are very happy when I show up with my truck and park it in the driveway. They love it when the guy with the truck is there who is always willing to help them out picking up sod, bags of landscaping rocks, potting or top soil, plants, or a new appliance from Lowe’s for them.

Sheds are not allowed.
Between the heat, humidity, BUGS, etc. I wouldn’t have a shed in Florida. You could install a minisplit in your garage for storage.

Try art supply stores, or sign companies (although some of them won't sell blank substrates). |

Have you tried Grainger? They are an industrial supply company. I have bought similar items from them in the past. They have a location in Ocala.
