I like the "natural" surroundings of both of those Heron and Pelican and the squirrel monkeys add a little fun. Don't bring treats or those little burglers will jump in your cart and carry them off.

First of all,, the easy one --- I love playing with strange women. Though I've generally kept it to one on one in the past, maybe a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 might be fun to try. And I really hope there are still women out there who like playing with strange guys.

Re the 3 day notice, at that stage you're going straight to the reservation portion ---- too late for a request. If you're a single or even a double, you'd have a wide choice of tee times all day long. If you're a foursome, the only thing open is going to be a few of the 1st or 2nd tee times and some real late ones that race the sun.

Don't know what you meant by ". . . you must then contend with the setting sun or perhaps the rising sun ...... this is a new thing this year. . . " I seem to remember the sun rising and setting in previous years and even had to quit golfing due to darkness on occasion.

Oh, and if you sign up to join an existing reservation, I believe it tells you the male/female makeup of the group, though I don't think it notes whether the are strange or not.

Tee times definitely seem to be tighter this winter than last. I can only speak to the Exec courses.

The newest exec courses, Roosevelt and Truman, opened up around Labor Day 2007....that's 18 months ago. There are approximately 3,000 more houses in TV now than in Sept 07.... all those golfers gotta go somewhere.

The 2 new exec courses, north of SandHill are scheduled to open in Fall 09. That will certainly help.
