however I don't think it's unreasonable to have a guest a few times a year.

I agree. I was not suggesting otherwise. I am suggesting accommodating every resident before guests.

I am a year round resident. I play all of the golf I want. It is fairly easy to accommodate guests during times other than the mid winter but therein lies the problem. We have owner/residents who are only here for that part of the year. They pay their amenity fees year round. I would not like to think they are losing an opportunity to play golf as a result of accommodating a guest.

for requests with guests, the guest(s) should be assigned a reasonable number of points and be in the same pool with all other requests IMO...gn

Actually 3 Heron is there early.I live south of 466 and I have no problem playing "any" course .You can play everyday even with guests on the executive courses.Just look up to 3 days before you want to play at the open tee times .There are plenty if you're flexible and not picky about which course you play.

Viewed the DVd from TV and all activities available. However, read how difficult it could be to get a tee time during winter months and curious if all activities/clubs are
saturated because of the 80 M plus residents.

Well, we aren't there now, and maybe this year really is different. During the winter months when we are there, we play pretty much every day. Usually it is just 2 of us and we are flexible about course and time, so we haven't had any trouble. Even when friends visit I haven't had trouble. Maybe this year really is different, but I've heard the same complaints before and not experienced them.

I've tried for 3 weeks to get a Sunday reservation 7 days in advance for a 4-some (1 is not priority golf)on Yankee Clipper and have been shut out each time. Last week I got at 2 am on Sunday to sched the reservation 7 days out. Checked this am--- got Bacall :-(( Wonder if it's because one is not priority?

My understanding is that Priority Membership gives you no advantage on booking a tee tim on the Executive courses. I got that out of attending Good Golf School.

Very frustrating! Guess that is the advantage we have in not being choosy. Hope you et Yankee Clipper soon.
