Even though we are from Oklahoma,we would love to know some people from Baha Oklahoma! We also have our retirement home in TV (Caroline), but have not yet moved. We were in the process until we had an interruption due to a health issue. When that is resolved (soon, we hope), we will resume the process of moving permanently to TV. Would love to know others from our area, in addition to other parts of the country (or other countries).

My husband is a native Houstonian and I lived in Houston for many years. Although I wasn't born there, and we've been gone for 14 years, I consider myself to be from Texas. Whenever you move to TV we'd love to get together.

Hi there...like you, I'm always on the lookout for Texans. We're from the other end of the state, tho -- Amarillo, to be exact. We've been here 6 years now. Love it here, but I still miss my wide open spaces of West Texas occasionally.....not the awful winds or the blizzards, but the rest. I was born in Lubbock and hubby's a TN transplant.

Welcome!

We are from Lake Jackson, south of Houston, We reserved a lot in April in Pennecamp on Eldridge Loop and now are waiting to sell. Considering that we were just shown that our house has lost nearly 25% of its value in the last year, we wonder if we will ever get to TV. Only one home in our price range has sold in the last 6-8 weeks in the southern part of our county. Waiting is the hardest part.

Hi there to all you Texans and one Oklahoman. You see I am both. I was born in Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma and cost my parents $7 which was for the food my mother ate while she was in the hospital. I also live in Duncan, Marlow, Chickashaw, and in a cabin on Clear Lake east of Marlow before moving to the big state of Texas.

Moved to White Settlement when I was 14. Have lived in Fort Worth, El Paso, Midland and Azle which is where I currently live. I just recently bought a villa in De La Vista and plan to retire there in 2-4 years.

I would love to hear from anyone in/from Oklahoma, Texas, or anywhere. Need to get those online friendships in the works so as not to be strangers when I move. Let me hear from you.

Lynne, as you know I'm from Houston. Have a new job though. Not at the golf cart store anymore.

Born in Brenham, TX (home of Blue Bell ice cream). Moved to Hawaii 67.
Brother has a home on lake LBJ near Austin (currently working in Bejing). The community is called Horse Shoe Bay. Will retire again soon and move to TV and become a frog.
