Thick black snake hanging around Lynnhaven Postal Center.

Yesterday when getting ready to step on a pathway through the bush ground cover in back of Lynnhaven Postal Center while walking my dog I saw what looked like a black hose with a large lump in it.

Then the hose started to move and I had to pull my dog away from the direction he was going down the path.

I guess this was a black racer which had been dining rather well on something else in those bushes behind Lynnhaven postal center.

In case there are other Lynnhaven postal center users reading this be on the lookout for this snake.
