Bought first home in 2002, never whined about when Home Depot and others would be here. Or didn’t worry about aging or mortality………..

I do not agree. The country clubs are simply restaurants located at golf courses. Sawgrass will function quite nicely in that regard.

I want to have fun instead!
I live in the south end. I would have to do a LOT of shopping before traveling to stores interferes with my having all the fun that I wish to have.

There are about 20,000 people living south of 44 - and a lot more houses being built. I am amazed that BJ’s is opening a store up north. There is a lot of competition up there - it will be within a few miles of a Sam's Club and a Walmart and an Aldi’s. If they put it down here, BJ’s would be the only game in town.

No land available down south of 44. Developers own it all.

5) 7-11 (which is actually being built)
6) Elon Musk to build a tunnel from Magnolia Plaza or Brownwood to Orlando
7) Entry-ONLY ramp onto the Turnpike to Orlando from Meggison Road/Marsh Bend Trail. Traffic on 301 is dangerous IMO.
I can see it now, an accident in that tunnel would back traffic up for miles. Worse than I-75 or 301 or turnpike. And there would probably be no way for emergency crews to get to it.

How about healthy organic farms/gardens for farm to table restaurants then you will not need any cvs drug pushers
I thought that was what The Villages Grown was for.

What? No golf cart carrying monorail that weaves throughout the villages taking you to golf courses, shopping, medical facilities and town squares???

Do not understand why hoping new stores will come is considered whining by so many.

Personally like to look at the items we buy in a store and very often buy stuff on impulse.

Figure as long as we more or less eat it and enjoy it why not as long as we can afford it.

How does that work with the strip club? Will it even be legal?
