Default Tiera closing

Last day May 15th. Restaurant that is. Now golf Tiera or Hacienda and no place for a beer afterword. Many will bring their own beers, especially hacienda where you can go over by the mail boxes and sit on the benches. Otherwise drive to LSL or Spanish springs.

Sounds like it for now. Besides stopping for a cold one after golf at De La Vista,Tierra, Hacienda, or Chula Vista It was the go to place for my wife and I on Fridays since every where else in the northern part of the villages got shuttered, we're not happy.

Haven’t heard that, but if it’s true that would really suck after already loosing the Hacienda Hills restaurant. If it’s true, I guess the writing was on the wall when it was announced the Theater at TDS is moving to LSL?

That's a real shame, the wife & I enjoyed eating there when we were in the neighborhood.

They closed off the majority of the old Tierra and built the theater, only had a bar and restaurant not half the size. Then they closed the Hacienda Hills restaurant and bar. Their business went to Tierra and Orange Blossom. Tierra was expanded nicely done and now closing it. I feel bad for the staff losing their jobs.

Have been a member of at least 3 private county clubs. Agree that these are not clubs but in all 3 clubs restaurant/bar operations barely broke even. People do play golf and will have a drink afterwards but many do not stay around and eat

Since all these country clubs are being taken over by 2 or 3 restaurant groups the menus and food items have become cookie cutter copies of each other. A lot different from what the old timers that knew Harold told me.

You expected the villages to last forever? Notice all the other planned communities in Florida. The developers are long gone and the homes are done. Eventually things get completed. There will be a day when everything is complete and done. The Northern villages have probably seen that day.

Tell me that you've never been to the south end without telling me that you've never been to the south end.
