Default Time shown on posting off by several hours

Why is the time shown on my postings on this forum off by several hours? For example, the posting indicates this was posted at 12:10 AM this morning when in fact it was posted at 8:10PM. The clock on my computer is set properly. I didn't notice anything in the "options" section providing for changing a time zone.

Is anyone else noticing this?

OK, nevermind. There is a time zone option deep in the "Edit Options" page. For some reason the default time zone was set for Bangladesh. Hmmm. Is Kenya in the same time zone? Did Chelsea have anything to do with this????

The time is fine on my post 1 minute ago.

You need to set your time zone in your settings to Eastern.

Go to User CP then Edit Options.

Default Where is it?

Saw the thread and went to "fix" my TOTV clock. Went up/down this thing 3 time. I don't see anything that says "edit options".

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!

Jerry - assuming that you are logged in when you view this message just go to the top of THIS page and hit User CP (in the uppper left right next to FAQ and Members List). Once on the User CP page the 'Edit Options' link is the 9th one down the left hand side. Once on that page the time zone setting is near the bottom of the settings.

The direct link may work: https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...do=editoptions

Russ:

Thanks for the info. I'm just giving myself a test.
