if you leave it running 24/7 you get no mold. Is that right?

If so, why pay to stop it as if you have a roman shower then the pennies on the bill mean nothing?

Did i miss something?

We've had a fan in all our bathrooms for the past 25 years or so, and never gave it a thought regarding putting the fan on a timer.
Basically, the fan is only on when we take a shower or when shaving, putting on make-up, etc..
BTW, we've never had mold in the bathroom.
You would be wasting your money to not only have a timer installed, but also to leave the fan running on an ongoing basis.

Leaving exhaust fans on full-time pulls heated/cooled air out of the house, significantly increasing electric/gas costs.

we installed a timer switch purchased at Lowe's that gives you opportunity to set fan to run for 10, 20, 30 or 60 mins. Works great

We just crank it to 60 min for each shower.

Simple installation.
