Default Connectivity

Latest VMail from the Villages takes you on a ride from Brownwood to Warm Springs to Rohan with Jennifer Parr. The Rohan through Chitty Chatty to Meggison section will be completed in August, the Meggison connection to Brownwood targeted for October. The Water Lily bridge and connectivity from below the Turnpike to Brownwood is targeted for January. For the ride and maps check the V-mail or the Villages YouTube channel.

Great video and excellent map. Sounds like they have a very aggressive schedule planned. This is very exciting news.

Looks like connectivity may be real when we get there in May

What seems odd to me is there will be no connectivity for those of us west of the turnpike to the villages and Deaton Plaza east of the turnpike. Gold Wing Nut had an excellent theory that they could add cart lanes on the Warm Springs bridge similar to the bridge in LSL. Since this video doesn’t address any of that, looks like that’s not going to happen. Would take very little to add, since they are already re-doing that bridge anyway.

I think the expectation might be using the Water Lily Bridge but, it ain't over till it's over.

Well, they got us to buy over on the west side of the turnpike without any "connectivity".

With what was stated on the video mentioned, they plan to open the CC bridge first around October. The WL bridge around the first of the year. No mention of the cattle bridge yet.

Us on the west side of the turnpike will be able to take a very long golf cart ride over WL bridge to the Brownwood bridge then up Buena Vista find a cut-through over to Morse then down Morse to lake Deaton over the CC bridge into the village of CC! About an hour from my house in McClure!

The CC bridge opening will guarantee they will be able to sell all the homes in CC, Bradford and St. Catherine's quite easily. I M H O

Whether or not there will be golf cart travel lanes on warm springs rd over the turnpike is most likely not an issue to the developer considering we will be able to get to the other side via the Water Lily bridge. I M H O

Where did you see or hear they are redoing the Warm Springs bridge?
They are going to rework the Bexley cattle bridge.

If you follow Goldwing Nut you would have seen it was speculation...and I thought it was a good idea....but doesn't appear it will be happening. Bailey (Bexley) bridge is another unrelated bridge.

I do follow Goldwingnut and knew he had speculated. But I must have misunderstood what you meant by “since they are already redoing that bridge anyway.” I thought you meant they are redoing the Warm Springs bridge for some reason.

From the west side of the turnpike to get to Lake Deaton you would go over Water Lily and instead of heading north toward the Brownwood bridge you would head south along the MMP toward Warm Springs and through the tunnel that was just placed. Then head north on MMP to Lake Deaton. Not the shortest route but the best way until the Bexley Bridge is completed. That is assuming all the roads and MMPs are completed when the WaterLily bridge is completed.

You Are correct.

I stand corrected.

My post about going up to brownwood then up BV over to Morse was flawed. Mea cupla.

Is that trip more than 60 miles round trip? As long as it's under 60 miles RT I'd be OK but if it is not under 60 miles round trip it might be a tough ride for my battery especially if the A/C is running.

26.5 miles round trip from Everglades to the Brownwood town square. One the path through Richmond opens it will be only about a 7.5 miles round trip. Big difference!
