Don't like seeing it you don't have to open it. there are much more important things to worry about or be concerned about these days!

Perhaps you've never seen the vast and beautiful Great Lakes. Sand more glorious than anything you'll find in FL. (Let the fight begin...)

Yes, I also skip over posts that I'm not interested in. It's as easy as a swipe of the finger.
But I do appreciate the for sale items as well. I just bought a dog crate from a lovely couple in Pinellas. Just think of all the nice people you meet though the foe sale section!

I read TOTV by category. I usually only read the "General Villages Discussion" section unless I am actually looking for something to buy.

I don't know how to read "new posts" only.

btw...I got "took" when I bought a recliner on the items for sale....my own fault, of course.

I have gotten some great things and have had a chance to advertise in the "wanted to buy" with success!
The free items are usually good quality things.... so ... this is a great venue to have here for those of us that don't have time to go to thrift stores!

Some people always see the glass as half empty. I certainly wasn't complaining as the OP. I was merely asking a question for discussion purposes.

Duly noted. I didn't think you were complaining.

CQuick, if you want to see all the new posts, scroll down to the bottom of the home page when you log on. The most recent ones are listed there. I like to read all the new ones that interest me in any category.

I agree with posters wanting more information and/or gossip. Lol.
No no no!
This rug was originally 300.00!
I bought it from a Villager moving to another state for 50.00!

I love the items for sale! Small ticket items OK. Waiting for a garage sale is not too easy, posting on here is. My items always sold quickly. Keep it please.

SMH...It's a good tool for those of us selling AND buying, and somewhat comforting that it's Villagers only. Just skip it if you're not interested.

There is a bar at the top. Home, Usercp, Calendar, etc. New posts is in the center. Just hit that.
