People will believe anything.

For April Fools one year, I posted official-looking notices on all the copy machines explaining they had been updated with voice recognition. You had to register your voice. State your name, the word, "copies" and the number of copies, and then the word "start". Because it is in learning mode, you might have to repeat the command slower and louder.

Multiple people were standing and screaming at the copy machines, "Joe Blow, copies, 10, start". It was hilarious.

Everyone looks the same to me when I drive through the Villages, so I think that it would take a pretty good program to recognize one old senior from another...........

Facial recognition, finger prints, retina identification are all invasion of privacy and should only be used by the police, officials etc under very special circumstances. The fact that Apple would like to make it common, using NASA type security for your family cell phone (hubby and I have 4 of them which we share constantly) does not make it more acceptable. If one believes that Ancestry.com doesn’t share their DNA with the police, and one believes that Apple keeps their profile private then they are ignorant and vulnerable.

I know what a webcam is. It's the first thing I put a piece of tape over when I bought this computer..
