Hi.

I was born and grew up on Prince Edward Island. Moved to NY state when I was 18 and got married a few years later. My husband is from the Albany, NY area. In 1995 we moved to the Milwaukee, WI area and in 2/08 moved to South Carolina and planned on building a house on our Lake property.. In March we visited friends in TV and guess what? August 4 we close on our new home in TV. We will be there next Tuesday 7/8 but we have appointments on 7/9 or we would gladly join you Canadians for lunch. Maybe we can met once we get settled.

Hi
Wish I was closer as I am in Ottawa so a bit to far to go to lunch. Enjoy. Cannot wait to go back to the Villages in the fall...

I know there must be a lot more Canadians out there living in the Toronto area. Perhaps they haven't been introduced to the pleasures of TOTV yet. I'll have to attend a Canadian Club meeting when I get back to the Reservation to talk up TOTV.

T & W - Sorry you can't join us for lunch, we'd love to meet you.

Redwitch, it sure would be nice to see a familiar face walk through the door.

CanadianChick, wish you were closer than Ottawa!

I've had several PMs from Canadians, but unfortunately no-one can make it to our luncheon!

Mom2five, thank heavens we found each other!!

Ah, a whole bunch of Maritimers. I was born in Nova Scotia and had a summer cottage in PEI for years (close to Victoria Harbour on the south side).

Look forward to meeting you when we're all in TV.

Mom2five met me this week for our first Canadian TOTV luncheon. 8)
It was wonderful to spend time with her and to share memories of The Villages.

We both love Canada and enjoy spending time here. But also we miss our houses in TV, the people, our golf carts, and everything about TV! It is such an unique place. We look forward to returning in the Fall!

We're still looking for more Canadians to join our luncheons. Please PM us if you can.

Was wondering how the luncheon went. Glad you two got together. Can't wait for both you to come back.

It was just great to talk to someone who understands what TV means to me. People who have not visited really do not have any idea and I am sure they get sick of hearing about it from me. I am enjoying my summer but looking forward to seeing everyone again.
