A lot of us grew up with that belief and even were taught to respect our elders. I do think that most people gain knowledge along with experience and compassion as they age.

Attitudes toward CV have been constantly changing since the Pandemic 1st came to the US. There are VERY IMPORTANT daily changes in the severity of CV that are affecting ALL Florida and US citizens.

The Delta variant is proving to be BOTH more contagious and MORE SEVERE! No one should try to HIDE from that news. Attitudes MUST change over that news. Also, Delta is putting more younger people in hospitals across the US. At a large Jacksonville hospital, the average of CV patients IS AGE 42. And statewide in Florida, 76% more people are getting VACCINATED this week than last week.

This proves that 76% of Floridians have CHANGED their attitudes toward vaccines. To believe that vaccine attitudes will NEVER change is to live in a PRETEND unchanging world. Ignoring important Public Health information can be more dangerous than taking the time to know the issues.
And, once again, not one source to back up these "facts"...

Actually Gizmo, not that it’s any of your business, I got vaccinated at Walmart on 441 in March.

Bottom line, it was my choice, not someone else’s.

That was my point on the original post - lets talk of The Villages,
someone painted their house the wrong color, the guy at the family pool has his radio too loud, the water’s too cold, the band at Brownwood sucked last night, who’s the best pool builder?

All the COVID/Vaccination talk does is divide us. We are all smart people, we can read about what’s going on.

If you want, create a site called Talk of COVID.

If the admins want this site to generate traffic/views, which in turn generates revenue for them, reign it in.
Yes, there are a lot of posts, but its the same people - a more profitable digital medium has interaction by a lot of people.

Your strongest category is Pattern Recognition where you scored higher than 99% of people tested.
Yeah and there are beautiful Russian women wanting to meet me if I pay for full site access.

So true, I try to always put a trigger word in my thread title to warn people. But I think a lot of people get sucked in by curiosity, and then it is like the train wreck that they can't look away from.

Wow, what's wrong with a conversation about COVID? It's interesting and if I get bored with it I know how to exit out of the discussion.

Not calling any names but there sure seems to be a lot of sensitive folks using TOTV. I guess my parent's generation was the last of the Tough Americans because I sure see a lot of PC cr@p being enforced. If our generation is this soft I don't know how the next generation is going to survive.

I agree with the other poster on here that "applauds" the TOTV for their service. When folks are not able to get out and about it's nice that they can converse with peers of their generation.

Thank you TOTV for the great service.

I am so glad you said that. I have not made sangria all summer. I will tomorrow.

I soak the fruit in Grand Marnier. I like to throw in a peach if I have a good one.

uh, oh. . .I digress. . .back to topic. . .
