SS is the first square I visited way back when, so it hold a special place in my heart. Happy hour is 2 hours as opposed to one hour, in the other squares.

LSL is the most picturesque.

The best square is the one I'm in. LOL

LSL is my favorite but I do enjoy the unique environmental flavor and character of each square. After all, variety is the spice of life.

The North Pole and Fairy Town was in the area too. Great memories from my childhood.

The North Pole had its own Post Office at one time, no more. [emoji53]

There were two. One was a cowboy western theme and the other Davy Crockett kind of stuff.

I have seen all of them, and I like none of them even though they may be cute or pretty. I prefer a real town square with lots of historical character, mature landscaping, and beautiful older houses. A perfect example would be Savannah, GA.

Come on, go with it. Think how it started ...
The Villages Florida

If I were 30 years older I would have gone for this.

Great point on the 2 hour happy hour. Not only 2 for 1, but twice as long. And SS springs also has the Sharon, easily the best entertainment venue in TV.

I love Sumter but most often go to Spanish Springs because it's close. Often choose based on which band is playing. Spanish Springs needs more food options and retail.. The Sharon and the building with MVP in it take up half the perimeter. Really wish that parking inside the square was limited to just golf carts from 5-9. Plenty of parking beind the buildings for our non-Villager visitors in cars!. So many folks like to sit in their carts and listen to the music, but then an SUV pulls in next to you and blocks your view while taking up the space where four carts could park (double).

It would be impossible to pick a favorite. Each one has its own character that I could not say is better than that of the others. I love that the developers created each one so unique with only a few things in common (nightly music, restaurants, shopping). The rest is up to the community to create or compliment the ambiance.

Lake Sumter Landing because of the layout and the number one reason, we enjoy Starbucks coffee. After we gave up booze strong coffee is our drink of choice
