LSL - Tonight we walked the length of the boardwalk - captivatingly beautiful sky and water at 7 p.m. I think the stadium seating at Brownwood expands seating options for big ticket bands.

All 3 are great, but LSL gets my vote for the best. The views across the lake with the palms growing from the sand traps on Palmer are priceless. Also, the eats at the Lighthouse are near to my heart as a seafood loving NewEnglander.

We love the small town atmosphere of Spanish Springs and watching people having fun in their senior years. And, we never have trouble parking, there are so many lots behind the stores. Also love Lake Sumter Landing, but have trouble parking there. Both are great!

I like Lake Sumter Landing, by far.

I do, however, wish the center gazebo was at one end of the square. I don’t like to watch the sides or backs of the musicians on crowded days.

I've always liked Spanish Springs because it seems to be the most friendly. Sumter Landing is second. But I'm a long timer here so I'm probably a bit biased. I've had many good times at all three.

We rarely go anymore after being here ten years. We like to show them to company who haven't been here.

Lake Sumter Landing because of the boardwalk and the views of the lake. And it has the most good memories of visiting nieces and nephews.

#1: LSL - water and Panera's

#2: SS - Water and the Statue. Stayed there for our first visit

Brownwood - never go. No opinion.

My favorite square is the one that I happen to need to go to at that time. We are blessed to have 3 totally different ones. Always something new to see and they are all beautiful and creative. Better then 3 cookie cutter gathering areas that other developments have, I actually do like the look of Brownwood as it reminds me of the old Frontier Town that I visited as a child. Lived by the water, been there done that and still love it but if you look at the structures in Brownwood it certainly looks like a hometown that possibly my ancestors lived and worshiped in the little white church.

They all have their good and bad points. I like Paddock as it is not as crowded as Sumter and not as far as Spanish Springs, the 8 restaurants give a good selection, the lines for drinks is not as long as at the others, the bleacher seating keeps the sun off and rain too in some sections, it gets the same entertainment as the other squares and lots of parking. With new restaurants coming and more commercial space being built, it will gradually become even better. The ever increasing population of villages south of 44 will attract more businesses in the near future. Rumor has it that there are negotiations underway for a restaurant in the building that was occupied by the German restaurant, if true that will add to the square's amenities.

Was the Frontier Town you spoke about in upstate New York? I went there as a kid. It was in the Lake George area I believe. We were "held up" by bandits while riding a stage coach. Such fun!

The North Pole and Fairy Town was in the area too. Great memories from my childhood.

Wow, an opinion poll post that's 3 pages long already and not a single person yet offended because someone else picked a different square than they like or are near. Nice job.

My favorite square is always the one, on any given evening, that has the best live entertainment. Maybe I should post a "who is the best band?" thread and sit back with a bucket of popcorn.
