Default Lanai enclosure for Lantana

Has anyone had the lanai enclosed on their Lantana model? Would like to have ours done, not quite sure where to start.

I do not have a Lantana, but I just enclosed the lanai on my courtyard villa. I used Custom Vinyl Systems (CVS) for glass sliders all around. They did a fabulous job, have a lifetime, transferable guarantee that also covers glass breakage. I received 3 quotes and they were not the most expensive or the least expensive. I have high praise for this company. They can be reached at 352-237-3088.

Look in the Village sun and you will see some ads.

We are in the process of having our lanai converted to Florida room by Custom Windows but not going to comment until the job is completed but so far so good.

Call Elite Lifestyles. They occasionally have open houses on about 8 or 10 jobs that they finished. You have the chance to talk to the home owners.

we and several of our neighbors went with Custom Windows in Leesburg. THey have showroom off of 441. We put in full length sliding doors in bronze and opted for the darker screen as our lanai faces west. Very pleased. They come out and measure and leave your lanai alone til windows come in and it's done in one day. Some companies take screen down and leave lanai open for awhile waiting for windows to come in.

We also can highly recommend Custom Windows, 352-787-2735.
They did a great job on our lanai enclosure two years ago.

Work is good but taking longer than we expected.

Maybe you had a different crew but lot longer than one day.
Took down the old screens took 1 1/2 days
Put up the windows 2 days
Stucco 1 day
Paint 1 day
Was supposed to finish today but just showed up at 1 pm and leaving back in a bit. Say they are going to finish putting screens in and hardware but do not think they will be done today.

We have an Ivy, very similar to a Lantana and All Season Rooms enclosed our. They did a ver good job, no leaks, no problems, they have a line of windows that carries a "transferrable" lifetime warranty that the others do not offer. They also gave us a better price than Custom Windows. Also, if you are going to do it be sure to get argon filled double pane glass, single pane doesn't do much more than keep the rain out.

We have a Lantana and I believe Windows of Central FL did our enclosure. They did a very nice job. I don't think the model makes a difference.
I know a number of people who used Custom Windows and were pleased.

All Seasons did ours and leaks every rain fall under the frame. Wont fix because it is not the window they say.

Thank you. We are getting quotes now. Single vs double. Sounds like you wouldn’t recommend single?

Everyone told us double was the way to go and that is what we did.

The only reason it would leak under the frame is due to lack of caulk??? I have a feeling there is something you are not telling us as i found their customer service to be top notch.

I've had single pane and double. You can hear your neighbors conversations with the single pane closed. Double only for me.

We had Custom Windows enclose our Lantana. Went with double pane windows and make sure you get the lanai roof insulated. We had no problems and would recommend them.
