Glenn Fey died. Bernie Leadon (guitars, banjo and vocals) and Randy Meisner (bass and vocals, most notably, "Take it to the Limit") quit the band. Even Don Felder (who was fired from the band) wasn't an original member.

Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt are hired members, with no ownership in the band... Tim Schmidt joined the band just before they broke up (the first time), leading to the famous "Hell Freezes Over" tour some years later...

I saw them last September, and they were great. Deacon Frey has really come into his own and is scarily the spitting image of his father, back in the 70's... And Vince Gill? Well, he's Vince Gill FFS! He can do no wrong in my book!

I also saw them for their "History Tour", about 10 years ago. Bearnie Leadon came back for some of their older songs, but sadly, neither Randy Meisner nor Don Felder were invited (too much bad blood between Frey and Felder)...

First time I saw them was a strange pairing with Yes in 1972 at the legendary Hollywood Sportatorium.

All the original band members except for two.
And a special treat was Vince Gill touring with the band and sang many of their smash hits.
