Today is definitely the worst of the last three days in TV. There has been a steady, if misty, rain, wind, and rain gusts most of the day. It seems worse as the day goes on. There are palm fronds down all over the roads in then older sections. It's very blustery and one can hear "things" knocking against the house ( a good night for ghost stories - where is Julia?)

Supposedly it will let up Friday afternoon and return to more normal conditions. It is wonderful to see the lakes full but our neighbors on the east coast are having a rough time. Then north Florida will have a turn.

Chels, where is that Fay Away spray???

I worry about my 1 1/2 year old Queen Palm on Montrose Court in Liberty Park. If anyone is near, would you please drive by and check that all is OK or not? You'll recognize my villa by the Parrot's Landing address sign...we're on the right side of the road 3 houses from the dead end.

Thanks to anyone who will check for me.

Very windy and rainy, guess the Fay Begone has worn off Kiddo! I keep looking at our trees, but so far so good. Stay safe all.

Thank you, Thank you and Thank you once again to all of you posting what it is like in TV.

I am glad that you are all safe and sound. We watch the weather reports and they show flooding, cars getting stuck in high water and we wonder how you are all doing.

Please keep the reports coming. Appreciate it.

Hey! here in Tall Trees, I am getting ready to gather them up by "twos" and place them on the Ark. We are getting slammed with rain and wind now. :dontknow:

Rescuing one cat may not change the world, BUT for that one cat, the whole world will change.

Real nice of you wiw1819 to post this. Except for his voice, he appears to be doing very well after such an horrific encounter. In fact, it is funny that he didn't want the interview to end; perhaps he's got "cabin fever" already. Glad he's improving ... he sounds like a good guy!
