Fine, but nobody should be entering the RB as another vehicle is coming around, turn signal regardless.

I will enter with another car, but will adjust to exit before or after that car when going straight. The big problem going straight is the speed demon from the first/right entrance trying to undercut you to go straight. No, I don't trust anybody, ever. Most times I'll take 301 or Micro Track/ Rolling Acres to get to anything North of LSL.

Yea turn signals really help when you get in wrong lane but sometimes you have to around another time to get in right lane unless someone is nice enough to let you move over. Yes turn signals really help!

Absolutely----and that is why the rules state that when entering a RB you must yield to traffic in BOTH lanes. Unfortunately, as stated above, some people make up their own rules. Personally, if I'm in the inner lane and some bozo enters, I drop back until his intentions are known. I also try to use the outer lane as often as possible to go straight and hence avoid that scenario.

Thank you very much. We have had this discussion already many time in recent years, andI am surprised that every time new rules coming up. My recommendation: Just follow the Round-about-rules.

Not really sure. I'll check the covenants and deed restrictions. I'm sure it's covered there - probably close to the paragraph concerning pink flamingos.

Could we rent about a mile of Buena Vista and have a demolition derby in the roundabouts?

After we collect the entry fee we plan on giving a prize to the last car still running. Wonder who we would have to go to in order to get approval of a new form of entertainment? Or could rent the polo fields come to think of it.

Only problem if I went to the developer to do this he would probably steal this idea!

Gotta dis-agree with this.

Heheh. Can't disagree with that. And if bullfrogs had wings...

If you were around my car in a roundabout you would have no doubt ever about what my next driving intention is. I was totally jammed up when we first moved here for about two miles and then the theory of letting others know and never trusting their notifications via blinker at any time. I trust their actions.

I use my blinkers for everything every time as a basic human courtesy to others. It is also the law I think.

Before I changed from a professional truck driver to a dispatcher I received an award for one million then another award for one and a half million incident-free miles. I love driving like the first day I got my license.

Do you know that's harder in the N.Y.C. area than it is in The Villages? Just be considerate that's all. Take it easy. Give the other person a break and whatever you do never ever trust their blinkers. Watch their head, that's the biggest tell for their next move. In The Villages, I did notice that you only see eyebrows over the steering wheel of most cars and they just pull out into traffic sometimes without looking either way. It's never ever going to change. Defensive driving is your only chance around here. Good Luck!
