A single golfer can worked in more easily, a twosome might have to wait quite a while, you might call ahead to the starter shack.

This site has all the addresses and phone numbers and other info.

Golf The Villages

Championship courses work on a teetime system, and 10 of the 12 championship courses are 27 hole. Do to the fact that an 18 hole round means you must cross over to play the back nine, two times a day there are no teetimes for about two hours. For example from 9:28 until 11:56 there no teetimes, because those who teed off before 9:28 need to complete their back nine and all three nines rotate, this takes two hours to complete.

Here is the teetime website, you have Village ID number, you need to go to the Villages.net office or call them, they are at LSL between City Fire and Red Sauce and sign up. They automatically charge a credit card $8 a month to be a member to use the site.

TheVillages.net - Login - Email, tee-times, computer support - serving The Villages, Florida and the Tri-county area.

Once you're in the system, you can make requests up to 7 days in advance, or go on the website and choose a teetime within 3 days, but not the day you want to play. If you wanted to play today, call the pro shop of the golf course you want to play. If you're a single golfer, they can probably work in that afternoon with threesome, not many twosome go off this time of year. A twosome will be a little more difficult to work in a slot, maybe late afternoon.

It's best you go to the Good Golf School class, it's two and half hour introduction to TV golf courses, procedures and the teetime system. It's given once a month at Colony Rec Center I believe it's the third Thursday of the month. You might have a hard time getting into a class now because of the pandemic spacing.

Good Golf School
Thanks. Way ahead of you. Already have all that in place.

You may be the first to have done the tip-to-tip journey. Congrats.

The first to cross four bridges. Congrats.

Someone will be the first to cross five.

I never cared much for Belle Glade. Evans Prairie is nice. Bonifay is one of my favorites.

All a short distance by car. And now, a little more time to reach by golf cart.

Very dangerous for walkers. Twice now there has been a walker, tip toeing on the curb hanging for dear life onto the wall.

Safer to help let them walk in front and take their time getting across.
