Default Yesterday

I went yesterday afternoon. TV station was sayinh HiImpact due to construction 1 1/2 hrs going 1 1/4 hrs on return Not bad at all. If people would get over to the right lane south bound earlier instead of waiting to the last minute traffic might move easier as the rush hour approaches. Not a bad ride at all really.

It was just reported on Orlando TV station that all lanes are now open on the Florida Turnpike between The Villages and Orlando a week before scheduled.

Great news!

Heard this morning the turnpike is not back to normal. Both lanes north are open.

Default alternate orlando airport route

I took the turnpike to the airport Monday afternoon. The traffic was stop and go around the 561 construction. Later on we saw an accident with a construction vehicle on the north bound side. The traffic was just beginning to build in the accident area. There was also much more construction further south. On the way back I decided to avoid the turnpike entirely. I got off the beach line 528 at I4 west and took 27 north which eventually turns into 441 all the way. Normally the turnpike ride, with no traffic, takes me about 1-1/2 hours. With the accident site I know I would have been tied up much longer and then have the 561 area to put up with. I made it back in 1-3/4 hours and I saved some tolls.
