I will not have my laptop with me when I'm in TVs this long weekend.. is anyone aware of an 'internet cafe' in TVs were I would have
pc internet access? if even for an 'hourly fee'? library? hotel? coffee shop? Thanks!!

Will you have a Villages resident ID or guest ID? If so, you can use the computer room at Savannah Center. About 12-15 PCs in there and printers.

There is also the Sumter County Library across from the High School...but, not sure if they make you show a library card to use the computers.

These are both free places.

Those are the only places I know that have equipment. Lots of free hotspots but you have to have your own equipment.

As long as you have a valid ID card or guest card you can go to Savannah Center and use a computer there. They have a nice computer lab with 12 machines and laser printer networked for use. You just sign in and pick a open machine. You have a one hour time limit on the machine and it will kick you off when your time is up with no warning. There is no cost for using the as long as you have a valid and they do come in and scan your ID card. No user name or password is required to access the web.

Depending on what you use for e-mail you may want to take the links with you. If you have a g-mail, hot mail or similar account you will have no problem. If you have something like Road Runner (which I have) you will want to make sure you have your user ID and password tested on their web mail system before you leave home.

The Comfort Suites also has free computer use for their guests in the lobby area. They also have a printer networked to the computer.
