No.

I drive down the aisle the way the arrows indicate until I see a spot that I can drive thru and park.

After I finish shopping, I pull out of the spot, following the arrows.

Actually, we do most of our shopping at Lake Deaton Plaza which has parking just like Magnolia.

Going over the speed limit IS a very bad thing. But, even worse, is golf carts going DIFFERENT speeds. Some going the speed limit of 20 MPH. Some carts going 30 or even 40 MPH. Then there is the problem of cars, trucks, and golf carts NOT stopping for stop signs. Why are RETIRED people so anxious to get somewhere when they have no need to be so HYPER-ACTIVE.

The main problem is that no one worries about getting a ticket because there are so little Police presence. Older people NEED the PROTECTION of more Police presence. They can become victims from both younger criminals and from older bad drivers. Also, with the heavy alcohol consumption at the squares, traffic accidents increase.

When I was working at the utility company, we were mandated to back into all parking sports, or pull through, at all times during work hours, and in company parking lots. It was a safety behavior.

When you work in dangerous industries where safety is a high priority, or lives are easily lost, one generally follows alot of safety rules, and they become ingrained in your life afterwards.

That is simple enough with a pull through. It’s the backing in part where the geometry confused me. I guess it must be a sort of u-turn back up to get into the spot that is angled away from you. That takes a lot more driving skill than I have.

Personally I just park in Timbuktu.

Yep, it's HORRIBLE!!! Especially golf carts going 20.1 mph or a car doing 35.1 on BV. Summary execution is warranted!!!!

PS---11.5 years in TV, 28,000 miles on my cart, and I'm STILL waiting to see a golf cart going 40. I MAYBE, MAYBE once saw one going 30. Yep, let's get more police, more tickets---let's find that one guy going 40!!!!. And for every car that doesn't stop at a stop sign, there are 50 cyclists blowing through it.

I saw one golf cart zip by at 45 mph here in Lynnhaven. It zipped right by me. We have been here almost twenty years.

Of course, I don't back in if there are angled parking spaces.

For example, at Trailwinds there is no angled parking for ABC Liquor or Booger King. In those cases, I find a spot away from the other cars and back into it.

Default Misunderstood

Oops, that might’ve been me?! Dupuytren contracture‘s been acting up lately. I’m a bit older and appendages just don’t straighten up like they used to. My bad.

If so, it doesn't phase me in the slightest, I was just curious.
Driving an F250 medium bed is slightly longer than the spaces. So heading parking, the bed sticks out beyond the end of the lines. I have gotten parking love notes when I pull in so that the bed is NOT sticking out into the driving lane, and the front is into the other parking spot.

So the easiest is to park way out at the ends and pull through. . hence the pull through comment.
