Is this ultimate entitlement by Villagers ? You are unsafe. Follow the rules that the rest of us (most of us) follow. When you don't, you are endangering all others.
They are lazy

Signs in public parking lots are basically a 'guide' for drivers. They help when there is a lot of traffic. However, they are not enforceable by the police or the Villages security. That goes for stop signs as well .....except for the ones at the perimeter of the lot where you exit onto the street.

The parking lot in Spanish Springs at Publix has one way arrows in the lanes, whereas the lot in Spanish Plaines has bi-directional arrows in each lane.
Go figure.

I'll frequently park farther out to find one and let the "old folks" (LOL, that's me now) have the closer in spots.
Yes, most companies mandate this with the exception of a diagonal spot. If you back or pull through a diagonal spot you will end up leaving going the wrong way out.

"agree not worth getting shot over"

Cowardly? FL laws are pretty specific that your life has to be threatened before a concealed carry can leave your pocket. And then warmed that you will use it. Or, go to jail for murder.

If someone is acting like an ahole in a parking lot, or traffic; they deserve to be told.

Everybody is is distracted, inconsiderate, just plain stupid, or out to get you! The only good drivers are you and me. And sometimes I'm not sure about you. 😉
Always be careful!

I think we need to complain to the Sheriff departments and Villages security for more enforcement.
You might want to get educated on FL law. Your house and retirement cannot be taken in a lawsuit.

That could take up a lot of one’s time down here.

It’s hard to understand this point of view. Why enable bad and dangerous behavior by remaining silent?

The OP mentions using an index finger to point the scoundrel in the right direction. He or she may not have seen that as an index finger.

For those who back into their parking spots, don't you need to go down the aisle against the arrows because of the way the spots are angled in Magnolia Plaza?

If so, it doesn't phase me in the slightest, I was just curious.

I was not an enforcer: I was simple crossing the parking lot.
So, an informer, not an enforcer. I’ll bet that distinction was lost on “Mr, Middle Finger”😂😂😂
