Bought a Cadillac XT5 last November and I love it. Last three vehicles…Mercedes GLC300, Tesla Y and BMW X-3. XT5 is my favorite. Tesla was a lemon with factory issues. Lost confidence in them. Dealer actually discounted vehicle 3000 from sticker. Pittsburgh area purchase.

2021 Kia Soul EX. Love it. Our second Soul. Lots of new safety and convenience features: lane assist, blind spot, wireless phone charging, rear cross traffic assist, driver attention. Roomy inside but space saving in the garage. Popular Villages vehicle 🚗. And we belong to the Villages Kia Soul Club!😂

Recently bought a 2021 Toyota Venza hybrid. Very roomy and has a lot of nice safety features. We had never even considered a hybrid before. The battery has an over 100,000 mile total warranty. It gets great gas mileage. We love it!

Tough time to buy a car now...I am waiting for a year or so. Since cars in Florida here last a long time if well cared for, I'll go for the top of the line bells and whistles.
The OP wants to GET RID OF HIS SUV. Not looking to buy one...

Not necessarily. The OP wants to replace their SUV. I interpreted that to mean that they want to buy another SUV.

Bought a new Subaru Ascent about 13 months ago. Wife always loved compact cars. No issues, easy drive for her and comfortable. Safety features are unparalleled.

For those waiting for a new vehicle order.....

With the chip shortage and delays on preorders, there was always a a delivery date on the order.

If not delivered by a certain date, by law your order is nullified and you get your down payment back.
Is that the way it still works??

Your are trying to Canoe up river with no paddle.

Horrible timing.

You missed the golden window to make that move which passed a month ago.

Best advice.

I currently am driving a Lexus RX350, which I believe is my 5th or 6th Lexus SUV. Both my wife and I have loved each one of them. We have never had a major problem with any of them.

Interesting, I am not sold on an EV because of its range and charging limitations but might consider one of these for our next ride. What is the range on this vehicle? More specifically, how would it work on a two day drive of 11 hours driving per day without having to stop at all to plug it in? Can it make that drive with just an initial charge and then run on gas for the entire two day trip? Is the gas tank big enough to go 300 plus miles between fill ups? Does the vehicles gas engine have a similar horse power, gear ratio, and acceleration as a similar gas only vehicle? I would consider a primarily gas vehicle with an electric supplement for short rides, but I would never consider an electric vehicle with a limited gas supplement only to get you to the next charging station.

I don't think there is a delivery delay law for new vehicle orders. The contract would need to specify a delivery date and state that "time is of the essence". Otherwise, I don't think you will get a refund, even if the contract specifies a delivery date.
