Or go back and re-play some of the previous holes.

I play the exec courses a lot when they are not crowded and I often skip from hole to hole just to avoid being behind a slow group.

Of course, when I skip around, I realize I have lost my place on the course and I NEVER hold up a group or individual who comes up behind me.

A post to think about:
From what I have seen here at the Villages executive golf courses, most tee shots hit don't leave the ground but roll and could hit someone else's shoelaces.
