Default Verizon cell phone

I have a 450 minute plan with Verizon. What are the rules?

I will be in TV for two weeks. Do I only get charged for the calls I make.

Are calls made after 6 p.m. free?

Or will I have to make my calls short.

Problem is I have a tendency to ramble on the phone and I don't want to run out of minutes before my visit is over.

If you call another Verizon cell phone, no charge.

Okay. So I can call my wife and no charge. But otherwise "Is the clock ticking" if I call land lines?

Yepper, until after nine pm or weekends. But check your plan, it may differ.

Tom, a way around some of that, if you have a pc or laptop with you. Get a Google Voice account. It's free and you can call in the US for free.

Cool

Is this a "temp" phone you have for TV??? If it's your normal cellphone, the rules will be the same as up north...

If it's a temp phone, then all the rules could be different and you might use minutes for ALL calls, even the ones to other Verizon phones.

Besides, 450 minutes is over 7 hours of talking. You'll be in TV and drinking more of those Pina's at Cody's... No time for cellphone talking...

Enjoy your visit!
