There have been many threads and hundreds of posts on how to drive correctly in a roundabout. A lot of posts have conflicting and incorrect information. If I were a newbie, I'd be even more confused after reading the TOTV threads.

Best advice IMHO: Stay away from other cars in the roundabout as much as possible. Drive with extreme caution. Be prepared to deal with the fact that a high number of people won't be observing the rules.

Still a wannabee so I am just asking.

If I were in the left lane and needed to make a right turn and assuming there is a cart in the right lane, wouldn't it be advisable to go around the RAB to make the needed initial right safe?

I don't know so please don't throw tomatos.

Carts are not allowed in the RAB's unless it's street legal and then you would treat it just as a car. If's it's not street legal then I would avoid it at all costs!

.....or someone could combine all those posts and the dog excrement ones into an e-book for publication,......Do they ever ban topics for over exposure or lack of further interest? If people can't understand the brochure put out by the officials on the roundabouts,... is it really going to be explained on here any better?..

Great video. I have two suggestions just for fun:

1. We should have trucks in our RAB like in the video.

2. Just like the Mickey Mouse CLub, make Wednesday anything can happen day and let's drive on the left side of the road and go through the RAB;s clockwise so our British friends feel at home

Oh dear,

How many times do I have to tell you, this is a public forum. The threads are started because people are interested in the topics, they continue until people stop posting.

You cannot "put this to rest" unless you are the Admin, OP, or people just stop posting.

So.................... If you don't like the topic, simply don't read it.

Now, let's have some coffee and enjoy the forum.

Default Angiefox, Thank you for posting.

That is a great video clip and as far as I'm concerned should be watched by anyone who has any concern about RAB. Most of the challenges probably come from those who aren't on TOTV or have never used a roundabout. This video would be useful to have as part of the buyer or renter kit. Maybe the welcome wagon could include the link!
