Reminds me of what the great Mississippi Hill Country bluesman, R.L. Burnside told the judge. "I didn't mean to kill nobody, I just meant to shoot the SOB in the head. Dying was tween him and the lord."

If you leave your car to confront someone you are the aggressor, that is a bad idea all around.
I abhor the bad driving and lack of courtesy, slow down your retired, people should learn to control their temper, being a self appoint traffic cop is just DUMB. I expect criminal charges to be dropped and a civil case filed by both parties. Stay in you car and control your temper

I wonder if one senior sees another senior in the car so they figure they have a pretty good chance to duke it out and win.
I wonder if they saw a much more intimidating driver the macho might not take over as easily. It's very sad. I just thought of an old saying that someone in my past used to say "act your age and not you shoe size"*. Too many men [not most by a long shot] down here act 10 and a half, wide. *It sounds like something Sister Jovita would say right before she clobbered someone. Road rage. What a waste of precious time. I'll bet I know where both of them are from. If you get out of your car around here NJ/NY/CT you better be ready for ANYTHING. Peace be with you all. Take it easy, there are better things to fuss about. They were equally wrong by the way. The guy in the dark vehicle is not a police officer as I didn't see him flash a badge. Should have stayed in the car. The man in the white vehicle swerved towards the guy who shouldn't be standing on the road. Period. Judge Wapner. Next case.

YOU are absolutely right but some are more inclined to TALK instead of keeping their mouth shut. That is the only difference. THE only difference and it is cultural and learned and often geographic. Many people taught to be outspoken look down on some of the others as being wusses and those taught to not speak out in a public setting look down on those who do. They are the same people really and both with many good traits. It is how their mom's raised them and how they adopted the culture around them.

I like to think of it as Round-About-Rage. It's sounds less decisive.

The fellow in the dark car is not from Mississippi, 'cause he didn't have a tire iron in his hand when he got out of the car.

And he's not from New Jersey or he would be holding a Triple A card.
