I don't live in the villages YET. Can you tell me how persons are chosen?

It appears to be completely and totally random. I was approached at a regular COPD Breathing & Exercise class at Mulberry Grove on 12/21/12. I'm pretty sure that I've been in a "suitable venue" many times previously, but this time worked! After all these years, it was a fun Thing! SWR ![]()

I remember that a Villages Daily Sun reporter did a story on me around Memorial Day, 2007. This was Gary Corsair. He was just out and about in the neighborhood here in Lynnhaven and was talking to my mother who was out working on her plants. They both got a lot of facts wrong and I had to convince Mr. Corsair to go through with the story because of my very stupid e-mails to Snopes sent years before 2007 and put in their looney-toon grab bag (Tinfoil hat file).
The day or so after his little impromptu interview, he had typed in my first and last name and out had popped the tinfoil hat file entries. Snopes seems to just lump anything they cannot do anything with into that for target practice from their regular Snopes' board members. My point in all this is that the Villages Daily Sun has reporters out and about in the Villages. They may get stuff wrong and not want to dig too much for these kind of stories but it did help me with my victims' rights campaign connected with public and law libraries. Never had the honor of being a Villager of the Day. But, I did get that Memorial Day (May 28, 2007) article. Last edited by Taltarzac725; 01-02-2013 at 03:41 PM. |
