I had an app on my iPhone for TV which had all info and phone #'s for golf courses, restaurants, and other things...well, I bought a new iPhone and my apps didn't transfer and now I can't find the website I downloaded it from. Does anyone know where I can find it...or what it is called?? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link, I went there and I can't find the download button. I went on FB and it says on your first visit you will be directed..... maybe because I downloaded it to my old phone I can't do it again...hmm!

I couldn't find a place to D/L the app either. I just saved it in my bookmarks for now. I sent an email to the author. I am using a HTC Thunderbolt. (An android phone.)

Default Got lucky

I just downloaded it to my Iphone and it works GREAT thanks . The directions are not clear on how to download it. You have to go to the website and then on your apple phone at the bottom are arrows a page and in the middle is a box with an arrow that you use to send pictures on email. When I hit that it asked if I wanted to send it to my phone desktop. I said yes. It downloaded the app on my first available screen on my Iphone. Sorry but I would have no clue how to do this on a droid but it might be similar??? I hope that helps I used Safari to open the website. That may make a difference.

Default The WEBSITE

on your cell phone open up your web browser!
type in www.thevillagesmobile.com
When the page opens...Bookmark it..
there was nothing to actually download.
The man has put together all the information on TheVillages and you can carry it with you by bookmarking the site on your mobile phone.
SEE BELOW HIS EXPLANATION:
A few months back I asked my readers at The Villages Florida Book what project they’d like me to work on next. Most people responded that a directory of phone numbers for restaurants, golf courses, entertainment and more would be good to have.
Others pointed out that there were already some directories available, and even though they might not be the most organized or easiest to navigate, they get the job done. So, a few people suggested that I try to think outside the box on this. Several readers asked for something that they could have with them in their golf cart when they didn’t have access to a computer to look up a number.
I’ve taken all the feedback I received and put a lot of hours into building what I believe is the first ever mobile app for a retirement community.

While it looks fine on your computer screen, its really meant to be accessed from a web-enabled mobile phone such as an iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry. I know this will preclude some readers from using the app initially, but as more and more people start using high tech mobile phones, I think it will catch on over time.

There’s no software to download. Simply point your phone’s web browser to TheVillagesMobile.com to view the app. Upon your first visit you will be prompted to add the app to your home screen for easy access next time you want to use the app. (THIS MEANS BOOKMARK IT)

I’m really interested in hearing what you think if you check it out. Please take a moment to fill out this feedback/suggestion form.

I’d also really appreciate it if you could help me spread the word about this. Get it on your phone and show it to friends. Share it on facebook even.

Thanks,
- Ryan

Default Caution? maybe

Who knows where the server is for this code. For that matter what is coded behind these screens.

An Apple app has been reviewed and certified free of offending code.

I hate the idea of adding apps that do not have a know source. Who knows what behind this one.

Anyone really know this guy.
